A Boulder County native and real estate professional since 1999, Michelle Barbour brings decades of experience, strong local knowledge and a thoughtful, strategic approach to residential real estate. Raised on a horse ranch, Michelle developed an early understanding of land, property and the responsibilities of ownership. Her experience spans luxury and single-family homes, investment properties, ranches and rural properties throughout Boulder County and the surrounding area. As both an advisor and investor, she brings firsthand perspective to buying, selling and owning real estate.
Michelle earned a BA in Organizational Communication from Arizona State University and also studied at the University of London. Her early career included working at Esprit de Corps headquarters in San Francisco, followed by time living and working in Seoul and Singapore. After returning from abroad, Michelle worked in account management for Marriott Hotels in Boulder before beginning her real estate career in 1999. Those experiences helped shape her appreciation for architecture, design, communication and the many ways a home influences how people live.
Michelle started her real estate career working alongside her mother, a respected local agent. Since then, she has built her business around careful listening, continued education, thorough due diligence and strong client advocacy. Known for remaining steady in complex situations, Michelle takes a practical, solutions-oriented approach to negotiation and problem solving. She works to give clients a clear understanding of the market, the property and the decisions in front of them so they can move forward with confidence.
