client love

I decided to look for a home in Colorado without much planning on a recent trip out from Boston to see my daughter. I was introduced to Jim McElvenny of Lux Denver who had helped my daughter find her house. From the first moment, Jim was incredibly helpful. One of the great things about him is that he really listens to his clients. From what was initially a search “all over the map” in terms of what I wanted (house or condo; Fort Collins or Loveland?), he essentially let me ramble through my thoughts coming up with insightful pros and cons which helped me realize what I was after. I placed my trust in Jim and it was not unfounded. From Boston, I made the decision to put in an offer and Jim tracked everything we needed for our due diligence; condo association documents, previous invoices for HOA dues and asbestos mitigation. On my behalf, he attended the inspection with my daughter, followed up with research and put in calls to check on electrical/plumbing questions without me even asking. Being so personable, he was able to talk to the seller’s realtor throughout the process to meet the tight deadline we had to close. He made sure the settlement math was correct and called the title company and HOA numerous times with questions – always up to go the extra mile to get it right. He even did an extra check on the title company’s electronic credentials to ensure there was no wire fraud when I transferred the settlement funds. Jim is on your side as your representative, not for his commission but for the best outcome for you. What he doesn’t know, he will find out and will ask his experienced Lux team if necessary. He is understanding of the stress involved in purchasing a home (especially unseen!) but he’s also objective and uses good common sense. I recommend Jim to anyone who needs a great broker.

First time homebuyer in Loveland, Colorado. I worked with Jim- he was objective, responsive, professional, and brought his own insight and delightful sense of humor to the exercise. We probably looked at 15+ properties before I wanted to pull the trigger. He was right on it- my lender said he was an absolute pleasure to work with on her end too. The company answered any and all questions (dumb and pertinent) so expediently and thoroughly. I would recommend this company to anyone and especially Jim McElvenny. What a pleasure! Thank you guys!
